Israel-hating bigot Mohamed Salah returns to the Premier League

Update 23 June 2017Salah has returned to the English Premier League, having signed for Liverpool for a club record £34 million.

Update (one year on) 2 Feb 2015: Salah has been quietly moved out of Chelsea having barely played a game for them

The following was posted 24 Jan 2014 with the title "If Mohamed Salah is not an antisemite Abramovic can get him to prove it". Seems like he never did....

Mohamed Salah is an Egyptian footballer who has just signed for Chelsea - a club owned by Roman Abramovic - for £11 million. The English sports media this morning is covering this story with  headlines like "Salah: I am not an antisemite".  Of course, Salah is not an antisemite. Like most Muslim non-antisemites he does not explicitly hate all 'Jews', only 'Jews who believe they have a right to love in their historical homeland', i.e.'Zionists'.

In August 2013 Salah's team Basel FC were drawn against Maccabi Tel-Aviv in a champions league qualifier**. In the home tie Salah refused to shake the hands of the Israeli team, which is a remarkable achievement given that the EUFA protocol requires the home team to line up while the away team walks along the line shaking each hand. Salah managed to 'avoid this' by going to the touchline, pretending to tie up his shoe laces. He also refused to shake hands with any Maccabi players after the game, which Basel won 1-0. After the match Salah announced he would refuse to play in the return leg in Israel. Only after his club threatened to terminate his contract if he did not travel he announced:
I will fly to Israel , Football is more important than politics and it is my job. In my thoughts I am going to play in Palestine and not Israel and I am also going to score and win there. The Zionist flag won’t be shown in the Champions League.
Elder of Ziyon covered the events of the return leg in Tel Aviv in which Salah again avoided shaking hands with the Maccabi players (this time by bumping them instead). As usual EUFA, who are so determined to 'drive out racism' from the game refused to take any action when it came down to antisemitism.

In December 2012 when Chelsea's star player (another Muslim) Edin Hazard joined a petition to boycott Israel from hosting the EUFA under-21 championship I wrote to Chelsea asking if Roman Abramovic (who claims to love Israel) was aware of the stance of one of his players. My letter actually produced a positive outcome. In signing Salah, Abramovic could still turn this into something positive by asking his new employee to publicy apologise for his previous comments and to prove his sincerity by getting Chelsea to play a match in Tel Aviv - with Salah shaking hands with the Israelis.

** Incredibly Basel have been drawn against Maccabi Tel Aviv again - this time in the Europa League - another 2-legged tie to be played in February. This is presumably one of the reasons Salah was keen to get a move away from Basel in mid-season.

Update: I have sent the following letter to my contact at Chelsea (note I promised not to reveal the name of this person):
We were in contact about a year ago when I alerted you to the fact that Edin Hazard was named as one of the footballers supporting an antisemitic boycott of Israel hosting the EUFA under-21 championships. You were very helpful on that occasion and were able to confirm that Hazard did not support the boycott.
Today I see that Chelsea have received assurances from Mohamed Salah that he did not make the antisemitic statements and actions that have been previously attributed to him. I am not sure what antisemitic statements and actions this refers to to but what I DO know is that he WAS certainly responsible for a number of actions and statements in August (in relation to Basel's two-legged tie with Maccabi Tel-Aviv) that I (and many others) consider to be pure antisemitism. There is no denying, for example, that he refused in both games to shake the hands of his Israeli opponents and there is no denying that he initially refused to even go to the match in Israel and when he was forced to by Basel FC he made an antisemitic statement about Israel. The details are on a blog posting I have made today.
Fortunately, as I said in the article, there is a simple way that Salah can at least genuinely apologize for his actions and demonstrate that he is indeed not an antisemite. Chelsea can and should arrange for him to go to Israel and publicly shake the hands of the Maccabi players. Ideally this could be done in a friendly match involving Chelsea FC. Anything less than such an action will always leave open the notion that Chelsea have signed a nasty, unsporting antisemite who also demonstrates a total lack of respect for his fellow professionals. I do not believe Chelsea FC would be happy to have such an employee would they?
Yours
Edgar Davidson

The Neturei Karta: not Jews in any real sense

As anybody who has ever witnessed an anti-Israel demonstration (such as the Al Quds march last Sunday) will know Neturei Karta are the 'Jews' who are the obligatory stars always placed at the front. They provide the ideal cover for the other demonstrators to spew as much antisemitic hatred as they wish.  Some people have argued that they cannot possibly be 'real' Jews because they not only call for the destruction of the State of Israel, but also praise terrorists who murder Jewish children. But what people are less aware of is that even their 'ultra-orthadox Judiasm' is actually something of a scam. Evidence of this is their attendance at demonstrations that take place on Shabbat. As I reported here I witnessed them a few years back at one such demo at Trafalgar Square. Moreover, they were carrying banners. When I had the opportunity at a subsequent demo, I asked their leader how this was consistent with their claim of Torah observance. He gave a truly remarkable response. He said they were allowed to carry banners in ‘that special place’ on Shabbat. I therefore do not believe these guys are real Jews in any sense. They are a bunch of publicity-seeking frauds.

BBC News yet again casts Palestinian terrorists as victims

Here is a screenshot of the BBC tweet:

And remember that the families of those three terrorists will now become wealthy from payments made by the Palestinian Authority funded by western taxpayers.

Also when the media updates its 'death scorecards' to prove that Israelis are the real aggressors this one will add three Palestinian civilian deaths to one Israeli military death.

p.s. Of course the story only appears on the BBC Middle East News online. It has otherwise been more or less completely ignored outside of Israel.

East London Police ignore death threats made by Muslim extremists against Muslims who vote

With the UK election on Thursday and the ongoing news of police failure to take threats from Muslim extremists seriously (leading to the terrorist attacks we have seen) I reproduce a highly relevant post below from just before the 2010 UK election. The friend wrote two formal letters to the Police about it and never got any reply. He says this Madrassa is more active than ever (some recent photos outside it are provided).

Muslim Threats in East London

A friend of mine was handed this leaflet (click to enlarge) by a young man in traditional Muslim dress outside a mosque/madrassa in the Mile End Road near Stepney Green station.

The leaflet states that the crime of “Shirk” (when Muslims dishonour Allah) is “the worst crime that anybody can commit” … and states that it is worse than “rape and murder”.

Hence, what makes this leaflet so threatening is the text printed in bold near the bottom, which warns Muslims against voting in the forthcoming elections; it says

“voting in the elections (manmade law system) is a form of shirk and will negate ones islam”.

Since the Koran mandates that the crime of Shirk is punishable by death according to the most eminent Muslim scholars this is clearly a death threat against Muslims who dare vote.

My friend has passed the leaflet on to the local Police. Since it contains a telephone number and email address there is not really much excuse for them not to follow up on this. But then again, since the Police have been infiltrated by an Islamist/Khomaneist grouping I would not hold out too much hope.

Scenes outside the Madrassa:

UK terrorism strategy: soft on Jihadists, hard on those who expose them

And remember that the Prevent Programme - which was supposed to 'prevent radicalisation' has also been used to hound those who speak out about the threat of Islam, and has focused on the mythical threat 'right-wing terrorists'. Note this on twitter today from Richard Delingpole.

And this (see full article):

And now this (which can only mean people who insult Islam):

Just a typical scene on a walk through London

Walking through Central London this afternoon (just off Oxford Street) I head loud screams of Allah Akbar. Just outside the Maroush Lebanese restaurant I saw a lot of police and two Arabic looking guys being arrested. Here is one on the floor. He was screaming Allah Akbar when he wasn't threatening violence and cursing the police:

Just the new normal for London.

The choice for UK voters

This is an update of a table I posted at the time of the 2015 election. Ignoring the obvious fact that Corbyn and his team are incompetent as well as anti-semitic, when you look at policies on core issues there really is no difference (and with the hopeless Paul Nuttall in charge of UKIP expect to see an increasing number of ticks there)

A reminder about the difference between ISIS terrorists and 'Palestinian militants'

For those of  you wondering why the media and politicians make such a big differentiation between
ISIS terrorists and 'Palestinians militants' (especially their child victims) the following chart explains very clearly why. You see ISIS and the Palestinian terrorists have absolutely nothing in common!!!!

But just when you were convinced they have nothing in common, the following chart should quell your concerns!!!

Media's predictable pandering to Islam is becoming a joke

Immediately after the Manchester attack I posted the graphic (see below) about the script the main stream media would follow in its reporting. As usual they have not failed on any of the rules. We already had the hilarious Cosmopolitan scam (they turned a Sikh taxi driver into a Muslim - see below). Then the search for the Muslim 'hero' who saved lives turned up Dr Siema Iqbal's husband (a surgeon who it actually seems was only doing his job). But Siema's interviews, while pushing the need for community cohesion narrative, were also pushing the 'backlash against Muslims' narrative (one of the other script rules of course).  Now Seima Iqbal has been exposed (see North West Friends of Israel for details)  as an antisemite who called for the boycott of Jewish shops and tweeted in 2014 that "Jews were buying cheap bombs" and "that Israel should be relocated to the USA".

Britain's 'official Jews' go full dhimmi mode

The Board of Deputies and CST are imploring Jews to show their respect at the Regent's Park Mosque this evening (note this is NOT satire). This was sent by a Manager at the BoD.

That would be this Regent's Park Mosque (quoted from Guardian article):
At the Islamic bookstore at Regent's Park Mosque in central London, DVDs of a preacher called Sheikh Yasin are sold. In one DVD, Yasin, who is promoted on the mosque's website, accuses missionaries from the World Health Organisation and Christian groups of putting the 'Aids virus' in the medicine of African people, 'which is a conspiracy'.
Another DVD on sale features Sheikh Feiz, a Saudi-trained preacher. Feiz says: 'Kaffir is the worst word that can ever be written, a sign of infidelity, disbelief, filth, a sign of dirt.'
In a statement the company that runs the bookstore said: 'We sell and supply a wide range of material and we do not necessarily agree with it. It is totally unfair to blame [us] for any of the views expressed in these lectures.'
This is all about pushing the Muslim victim/Islamophobia narrative as a cover for the inconvenient fact of Islamic terrorism. In case anybody thinks this is harmless they should read this article. People who attend or support this kind of event may be doing so in good faith but ultimately they are part of the problem.

Corbyn: Let's make sure the similarities end here

With news that the Tory lead is narrowing this could become the UK's nightmare with Corbyn leading a coalition government of anti-semitic bigots formed from Labour, Lib-Dems, Greens and Scots Nationalists.

On sadistic child murderers....

Examples (some material below from this article by Itamar Marcus):

The Itamar massacre. On 11 March, 2011, Hakim and Amjad Awad murdered five members of the Fogel family in their home, killing the parents, Ehud and Ruth, and three of their children, Yoav, aged 11, Elad, aged 4, and baby Hadas just 3 months. The killers cut off the baby's head. From the day Hakin Awad was arrested the PA rewarded him with a monthly salary of $3,000 a month, four times the average Palestinian civil servant’s salary. Official PA TV then invited his mother and aunt to talk on the PA TV program dedicated to honoring and sending greetings to imprisoned terrorists. They referred to Awad and his accomplices as “heroes” and Hakim Awad himself was called “the hero, the legend.” The PA TV host added: “We, for our part, also convey our greetings to them.”

The Jerusalem’s Sbarro restaurant massacre: Hamas terrorist Ahlam Tamimi planned and engineered the 2001 massacre of 16 people, including 8 children, in Jerusalem’s Sbarro restaurant. As a mass murderer of Jewish kids she was the most 'honoured' of all the terrorists released in the ludicrous exchange for Gilad Shalit. She became a major celebrity in the Arab world, presenting a weekly TV programme where she encouraged millions of viewers to emulate her crimes.

The Coastal Road massacre On 11 March 1978 Dalal Mughrabi led a terrorist attack in which 12 children and 25 adults were murdered in a bus hijacking. The Palestinian Authority has named dozens of places in her honor, including three schools, summer camps, sporting events, a town square and much more. PA President Mahmoud Abbas himself funded a computer center named after her and sponsored a birthday party in her honor, as the banner shown on PA TV highlighted: “Under the auspices of President Mahmoud Abbas: The Political and National Education Authority Ceremony on the anniversary of the birth of the bride of the cosmos, The Martyr Dalal Mughrabi.”

The Ma'alot massacre. On 13 May 1974 three Arab terrorists murdered 24 children in a school in Ma'alot. In 2013 the official Palestinian Authority TV broadcast a tribute honouring the terrorists.

On March 29, 2002, 17-year-old suicide bomber Ayyat Akhras murdered a 17-year-old Israeli girl named Rachel Levy. To make sure Palestinian children understand how valuable it is to murder Israeli teens, the PA placed a picture of Akhras over the door of the Artas High School for Girls near Bethlehem. The caption to the picture reads: “The Heroic Martyr.”

In May 2013, Palestinian Media Watch reported that official PA TV had honored three Palestinian terrorists responsible for many gruesome suicide bombings that in all claimed the lives of 156 Israeli civilians, including many children. The bombings included the Passover Seder bombing, killing 31; Sbarro restaurant bombing, 15 (eight children); Hebrew University, nine; Cafe Moment, 12; Cafe Hillel, seven; Zion Square in Jerusalem, 11.

In October 2014 a Palestinian terrorist drove his car into a light-rail station in Jerusalem, killing three-month-old Chaya Zissel Brown and 22-year-old Karen Mosquera of Ecuador, and wounding seven others. He was shot and killed by police while attempting to escape. The next day Fatah, headed by Mahmoud Abbas, honored the murderer as a hero on its Facebook page: “The Palestinian National Liberation Movement, Fatah...accompanies to his wedding the heroic Martyr Abd Al-Rahman Al-Shaloudi, who carried out the Jerusalem operation, in which settlers in the occupied city of Jerusalem were run over. Rest in peace, we are loyal to you.”

Tuvia Tenenbom: "The Lies They Tell" review

Tuvia Tenenbom is a writer who manages to entertain at the same time as exposing evil and prejudice (mostly antisemitism). His previous book "Catch the Jew" was a devastating indictment of the antisemitism driving Europe's funding of anti-Zionist organisations in Israel. This latest book is an equally devastating exposure of ignorance and antisemitism in America. Tuvia is especially adept at exposing the hypocrisy of the left. However, contrary to what many people assume, Tuvia is certainly not 'a man of the right' or a conservative in any sense of the word. This is something I return to at the end of my review, along with some criticisms (that I think have been missed despite there having been some very good in-depth reviews of the book already, such as this one by Phyllis Chesler).

Before stating my reservations I want to make it clear that I think this is a brilliant and must-read book for anybody concerned not just with antisemitism but also with the increasingly damaging effects of 'political correctness' which, in America, has eroded free speech and created a highly authoritarian society - a process massively accelerated by 8 years of Obama. A recurrent theme of the book is the lack of critical thought and predictable consistency of leftists: the two things they are invariably obsessed with are climate change and 'Palestine'. Indeed Tuvia notes that there is a perfect correlation between opinions on climate change and opinions on Israel. Those who believe in man-made climate change are anti-Israel while those who don't are generally pro-Israel. Tuvia highlights the obsessive and irrational anger that leftists have for Israel which seems to be based on complete ignorance, such as:
  • The Quakers in Pennsylvania who love Obama but only worry that he is 'too friendly to Israel' and 'not supportive enough of the Palestinians'. They care deeply about the plight of the Palestinians but not local blacks whose neighbourhoods are more dangerous than Gaza.
  • Bryan from Texas whose main interest is in foreign affairs and who proves this interest by saying how Israel must 'stop settlement building in Gaza'.
  • Jason - the first person he meets in Fargo Dakota - who introduces himself as 'pro-choice, pro gay marriage, pro-environment and pro-Palestine.'
Indeed, everywhere he goes leftists who know nothing about anything feel certain they know how racist and despicable is the state of  Israel. And it seems the biggest antisemites he finds are left-wing Jews, for example:
  • Jonathan the "Jewish Voices for Peace" demonstrator who, outside the Christians United for Israel conference, called Tuvia a "dirty fucking Jew".
  • Jewish temples whose activism is dedicated to helping other people (blacks, Muslims) but not fellow Jews. In one large Temple a black Jewish convert tells the congregation how racist American Jews are and how racist Israel is. They applaud her. They also are trained in how to not be so racist.
  • The wealthy Jewish couple from California he meets at a ranch who tell him they fund pro-Palestinian films and then clarify it to say "anti-Israel films".
  • Alvin the very wealthy liberal Jew in Boco Raton who, when asked what makes him feel Jewish, tells Tuvia that he cares about being Jewish by being angry with how Israelis treat Palestinians.
  • The sickening anti-Israel New Israel Fund hatefest conference in New York where a Palestinian woman is rapturously applauded by the large audience after telling lies that "Israeli soldiers kill kids in broad daylight". They also applaud Haaretz 'journalist' Amira Hass when she says anybody emigrating to Israel is committing a criminal act because Israel is a criminal state. At the same conference a Black Lives Matters woman speaks while Roger Waters sits in the front row and is feted by Haaretz journalists. (He also notes Samantha Power, Obama's UN spokesman, is there - an accomplice to the crime in Tuvia's view).
The fact that most Jews Tuvia finds are these kinds of leftists leads him to conclude that there will be an inevitable demise of the Jews in America: "People who dedicate their resources to help others and to fight themselves are destined to succeed on both fronts".

And, of course Tuvia provides many examples where antisemitism and ignorance is not restricted to leftists, such as:
  • The Somali taxi driver Qatar in Seattle who (when Tuvia tells him he is German) tells how much he loves Hitler because he killed Jews, and how Jews own every American corporation (he says Bill Gatesis a Jew)
  • When looking for KKK members or skinhead white supremacists in Vidor Texas the only racists Tuvia finds are two Israel-hating antisemitic monks.
  • His revealing interview with Chase Untermeyer who, despite being the former US ambassador to Qatar, knew nothing about Arab hatred of Jews.
Now onto my reservations. The most obvious of these - which I'm surprised nobody has pointed out - is that while the book is consistently entertaining and riveting, it is not totally original. Specifically, the way Tuvia achieves his results of exposing prejudice (especially antisemitism) was already perfected by comedian Sacha Baron Cohen: a Jew pretending to be anything but a Jew (in most cases), most notably in the movie Borat (the one where he goes to America). Moreover, like Sacha Baron Cohen, Tuvia is a cultural snob who is just as bigoted in his own way (against people who do not share his cultural 'values' on food and theatre) as many of the people he exposes and ridicules.

Tuvia also shares some of the left's intolerance for 'conservatives'.  For example, even though he understands the importance of national identity, Tuvia clearly does not like people being too patriotic - indeed he is scornful of those Americans who want to show their patriotism and ridicules those who support any kind of American intervention in the Middle East (such as Chris in Alaska). In fact, he is often as scornful of those on 'the right' as those 'on the left'. For example, he exhibits total contempt for what he refers to as 'right wing' Israelis (namely young Israelis selling Dead Sea products in Hawaii) simply on the basis that 'they believe that Israel should fight as hard as possible against the Palestinians'. He says that these Israelis 'strike me as a bunch of Ali Baba's thieves'. And, inevitably, Tuvia seems to have a pathological hatred of Donald Trump.

My final concern is that, for all his genuine bravery in putting himself into extremely dangerous situations in order to get to the 'real story', Tuvia's bravery when it comes to using his humour to directly challenge and ridicule people seems to be highly selective. For example, I could not understand why he would so aggressively goad a rich conservative like Chris in Alaska (who had even bought him a meal)  but he would never challenge a Hitler-loving antisemite like Qatar the Somali cab driver.

Despite these reservations I believe Tuvia Tenenbom is the most important and incisive Jewish political writer of our times on the subject of antisemitism and Israel. Nobody is equal to him in his ability to cut through the hypocrisy and ignorance that underlies most anti-Israel activities. The fact that mainstream Jewish organisations have shunned him for being 'too controversial'  is a disgrace, while those (like Limmud) who have shunned him for being 'too right wing' are simply ignorant.

So who does actually stand up for ordinary Jews?

Judging by two stories that caught my eye today the answer to the above question is: not the self-appointed 'leaders' of Jews of the UK and, increasingly, not even the authorities in Israel. The first is this tweet from Baroness Warsi at a Jewish Muslim Interfaith lunch.

Yes that is Baroness "prosecute Jews who volunteer for the IDF" Warsi (front left) and opposite her Naz "Ship all the Jews of Israel to the USA" Shah. While interfaith meetings can be a good idea, why do Britain's 'official Jews' always have to choose the most prominent Jew-baiters to partner? I guess it's lucky Ken Livingstone is not Muslim in this case.

The second is this headline and story in the Jerusalem Post (that used to be one of the only newspapers that provided fair - as in not blatantly anti-Zionist - coverage of Israel but has long become a joke):

And in case you are wondering, while we know that Muslims continually harass, attack, and stab Jews in the Old City, the story itself provides absolutely no indication of who the 'Jewish extremists' are beyond a quote from a Police spokesman that it is:
Jews who intended on coming to the Western Wall area to create disturbances
So that's all right to equate them with terrorists then.

Trump: You must personally demand extradition of child murderer Ahlam Tamimi from Jordan

Ahlam Tamimi is the female Hamas terrorist who planned and engineered the 2001 massacre of 16 people, including 8 children, in Jerusalem’s Sbarro restaurant. One of her victims was 15-year-old Malki Roth (an American citizen) and her parents maintain an incredible blog about the case here

By inciting terrorism Tamimi was subject to re-arrest under the terms of the release, but by living in Jordan the Israelis were unable to re-arrest her. However, because two of her victims were American citizens the FBI has recently put Tamimi on their most wanted terrorist list and requested her extradition from Jordan. The Jordanians, who also recently honoured child murderer Ahmad Dakamseh, have refused.

Here is Tamimi smiling when she is told in prison for the first time how many children she killed:

Here is Tamimi boasting of her crimes after her release.

However, now the heat is being turned up on Tamimi, she is actually trying to lie about her crimes and, typically, the main stream media in the form of the Associated Press has gone along with it. The AP's appalling reporting presents a convicted mass murderer's claims on an equal footing with those of the victims' parents (the AP's actions remind me of what the BBC did to Smadar Haran whose family was murdered by Samir Kuntar). There is also this disgraceful piece by AlJazeera. At this rate, in few years, Tamimi will be welcomed as a hero at conferences in America organised by anti-Israel Jews - just like what happened to Rasmae Odeh the female terrorist who murdered two Jewish students.

The names of those murdered by Tamimi:
  • Zvika Golombek, 26, from Karmiel
  • Shoshana Yehudit (Judy) Greenbaum, 31 (5 months pregnant), from Passaic, New Jersey, U.S.
  • Tehila Maoz, 18, from Jerusalem
  • Frieda Mendelsohn, 62, from Jerusalem
  • Michal Raziel, 16, from Jerusalem
  • Malka Chana (Malki) Roth, 15, from Jerusalem
  • Mordechai Schijveschuurder, 43, from Neria
  • Tzira Schijveschuurder, 41, from Neria
  • Ra'aya Schijveschuurder, 14, from Neria
  • Avraham Yitzhak Schijveschuurder, 4, from Neria
  • Hemda Schijveschuurder, 2, from Neria
  • Lily Shimashvili, 33, from Jerusalem
  • Tamara Shimashvili, 8, from Jerusalem
  • Yocheved Shoshan, 10
  • Giora Balash, 60

Additionally, 130 were injured. One Chana Nachenberg (a US citizen) remains hospitalized, in a permanent vegetative state.

Another terrorist murder in Israel. Another lavish salary to be paid by Western taxpayers to the murderer

Note: while Hamas takes claim for the attack it is the Palestinian Authority who honours him and uses Western taxpayer money to pay his new lavish salary

"As a Jew" David Baddiel did not like me criticizing him ....

In a FaceBook essay today ex-comedian David Baddiel decided to enlighten us plebs with the benefit of his wisdom and insights into the Ken Livingstone row. David tells us he is very concerned about antisemitism but this has nothing to do with anti-Zionism. To emphasize his non-Zionist credentials he says:
I do not support the appalling actions of the present Israeli government.
And he follows this up by using a quote from his own 'comedy' film as evidence that Israel is not even really Jewish:
I don’t even think it’s a very Jewish place. In The Infidel, my film, a character whilst describing various types of Jews, says “And then Israelis – Jews without angst, without guilt – so not really Jews at all.”
I replied to Baddiel's post with a link to an article I wrote about him in 2014. Here is his reply and note that my own response was blocked (in fact he has blocked me from accessing his Facebook page):

Here is the article from 2014:

The Infidel (October 31, 2014)
David Baddiel: leftist hypocrite and self-hating Jew
A number of friends have asked me to go and see the stage production of David Baddiel's 'The Infidel'. To understand why I will not go to see this (I saw the film incidentally and it was pretty poor) here is the relevant self-explanatory snippet from a blog posting I wrote back in 2010 about anti-semitism ingrained in the world of  'the arts':
To give another flavour of this same argument, I found something very illuminating in the latest issue of the Jewish Chronicle magazine. There is an interview there with the Jewish comedian David Baddiel about his new film "The Infidel" (about a Muslim who discovers that he is Jewish). One question asks:
What can the film teach audiences?
Baddiel answers: "The main Muslim characters in the film are not suicide bombers or fundamentalists, they are just ordinary people and the film tries to show them as such".
OK, but the very next question is:
What does being Jewish mean to you religiously and culturally?
Baddiel answers: "Probably the key speech in the film is when the rabbi, played by Matt Lucas, doesn't let Mahmud in to see his father, who is dying, because he can't say the Shema. That is the definition of Judaism."
Obviously Baddiel does not see the irony of his determination to portray Muslims as 'just like us', but to portray Jews as religious fanatics.
It is also worth pointing out that Baddiel - whose TV career effectively ended several years ago when he stopped being funny - tried to get himself some much needed publicity last year; he was the person who led the ludicrous campaign to stop Spurs fans calling themselves 'Yids' - a campaign that was fiercely opposed by 97% of Spurs Jewish supporters (and 91% of all Spurs supporters). Baddiel is a Chelsea supporter who has never campaigned to stop the genuine anti-semitism that Chelsea fans always direct at Spurs (the gas hissing sounds, Hitler salutes etc).

Nick Ferrari's latest gem

This was in a discussion with a caller about the 'hate crime' committed against an asylum seeker in Croydon yesterday. Ferrari was contrasting it with the Westminster attack, which he said was in no way a hate crime as "Khalid Masood was a petty criminal who did not care what the religion was of people he killed."

Tale of two books: Tommy Robinson v Baroness Warsi

The media and political elite choose Baroness Warsi - the soft Islamist supramacist, Israel hating fraud, and shun Tommy Robinson - the true patriot.  But somehow the public sees through it.

Here is the review of Tommy Robinson's book I wrote on 20 Dec 2015:

Tommy Robinson is the former leader of the English Defence League (EDL) who has just published his biography. First I need to point out that the book is not easy to get hold of (see the updated story about this below**, with information provided by Tommy Robinson himself).

There have already been some very detailed and excellent reviews of the book (see especially the review at IsraellyCool) so I will keep this fairly brief.

Anybody who has actually listened to what Tommy Robinson has to say, rather than accepted the stereotype narrative about him parroted by the entire main stream media, will not be totally surprised at what is in this book (the shame is that those who dutifully accept the main stream narrative will not read it). However, even for those who have followed Robinson's story over the years. it is a compelling read as it describes with real evidence the extent to which the British Government under David Cameron will go to both suppress those trying to raise awareness of the Islamic threat and to marginalise those who actually try to stop its spread in the UK. In many respects Tommy Robinson was the ideal bogey man for the Government and media, being white, working class, a one-time football hooligan, and having had a very brief flirtation with the BNP. Robinson talks frankly about all those aspects of his life, and the harsh realities of his up-bringing in Luton.

Written clearly in his own words with feeling (and understating his genuine suffering and heroism in my view) I think this is one of the most important political books of recent times. For me there were two especially illuminating stories: One relates to the 'sting' operation in which Robinson exposed Afzal Amin, the 2015 Conservative election candidate for Dudley North, as a corrupt liar; given David Cameron's affinity to Amin it is likely that he would have been a key Cabinet member in the new Government and so Robinson saved the country from electing one of the most sinister politicians of all time and one who was also subsequently revealed to have a fundamentalist Islamist agenda (much like that other 'charismatic Muslim politician' Baroness Warsi who Cameron also had an obsession with and who really was given positions of power).  If Cameron really wants to find out how Muslims think perhaps he should try talking with Tommy Robinson rather than appointing Muslims who tell him what he wants to hear. The second story relates to Robinson's experience with the Quilliam Foundation, the organisation supposedly countering Islamic extremism.  While the relationship was originally promising (and seen by many of his former EDL colleagues as a sell-out) it seems that Quilliam only wanted to have control over him; moreover Quilliam were also unable (or refused) to answer the serious questions about Islam raised by American bloggers like Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller who expose radical Islam.

Talking of Spencer and Geller, one of the small disappointments I had with the book, is that Robinson does not really say much about his relationship with them (see Geller here, for example), whereas having read Geller's blog for years it is clear that the relationship was at one time very close and went through some very interesting phases. He does mention the fact (well covered on this blog) that Spencer and Geller were banned from the UK (although he does not mention that a major reason for the ban was that they were considered 'too pro-Israel'). Of course the Spencer/Geller ban was supported by (and indeed lobbied for) by Jewish organisations including, disgracefully the Board of Deputies. Those same Jewish community 'leaders' and 'intellectuals'  also think they are showing solidarity with the Muslim community by continually branding Robinson a racist. Not only are they wrong about that, but they need to realise that Robinson is simply a British patriot who, in trying to halt the growth of Militant Islam, is one of the few people in this country prepared to do something against what also happens to be the most serious threat to British Jewry.  Moreover, there is a deep irony in British Jews believing everything the BBC and the Guardian says about Robinson, because the narrative presented is as false as the one those very same sources present about Israel.

**Published two weeks before Christmas I assumed the book would have been widely available, especially given Robinson's high-profile. But a quick check on Amazon last week suggested a problem - not eligible for Amazon Prime, and indeed not available direct from Amazon, with estimated delivery 24 Dec - 9 Jan and a £2.80 standard delivery charge on top of the £15 price. Seemed strange to bring out a book before Christmas that cannot be delivered until after Christmas. As I happened to be going to the West End I assumed I would be able to get it in the country's largest bookshop (Foyles). But  Foyles (and all other bookshops I tried) are not selling the book.  So, reluctantly, I ended up doing a Kindle download from Amazon  (the only direct seller of the book seems to be Press News Ltd). It turns out, unsurprisingly, that due to political correctness trumping demand, lack of availability is due to the fact that no publisher or agent was willing to touch the book (Tommy Robsinon tweeted me this information after I asked him about it).  So it seems the story of his life - a heroic but imperfect man outcast from main stream society for daring to speak out against the Islamist threat  - is not only described in this book but perfectly mirrored by the book itself:  heroic, imperfect and outcast from the mainstream bookshops for daring to stand up against the Islamist threat.

Tommy Robinson – Enemy of the State
344 pages £15.00 (plus £1.50 p/p) is available here with the following summary:
The explosive story of Tommy Robinson, former leader of the English Defence League. Tommy describes the brutal truths about growing up in Luton, a town plagued by Islamic extremism and violent gangs.

When Tommy led a street protest of ordinary townsfolk in support of British troops, they were met by police batons and brutality. And when the EDL grew out of that conflict, the state turned all of its might against him, destroying his livelihood, disrupting his family and ultimately throwing him to the violent Muslim underworld that runs England’s prison system.

Arrested and held on trumped up charges, while receiving a series of death threats, he takes readers through the traumatic EDL years, his ordeal at the hands of the justice system and how he was even imprisoned to prevent him speaking to the Oxford Union.

When all else failed, a shady division of Scotland Yard tried blackmailing Tommy into working for them. Saying ‘no’ cost him his home.

If you believe in British justice and freedom of speech, you need to read this book.

15 January 2015 UPDATE: While Tommy Robinson's book provides extensive evidence of his claims to have been the victim of State persecution - and indeed of having been a political prisoner - dramatic new evidence today comes in the form of him being charged  over an alleged fight in prison. There is no longer any doubt that Tommy Robinson is being persecuted by the British State simply for publicly warning about the dangers of Islamism.

Warsi - much loved by Britain's 'official Jews' - wants to prosecute British Jews who volunteer with the Israeli army

In an interview in Middle East Eye Baroness Warsi has stepped up her obsessive anti-Israel campaign by demanding that British Jews who volunteer with the Israeli army should be prosecuted. She also repeated her accusations that Israel is committing war crimes.

It is important to remember that Warsi was - and still is - a great favourite with Britain's 'official Jews' of the Board of Deputies and the Jewish Chronicle (see my many previous blog posts about this). Indeed the Jewish Chronicle is even asking its Facebook followers if Warsi is right .....

The failure to see through Warsi is a classic example of the dhimmitude of both Britain's official Jews and indeed the Conservative Party. Her Jew-baiting antics are best exemplified by this tweet she posted after 4 Rabbis were massacred by terrorists in a Synagogue in Jerusalem.

Britain’s ‘official’ Jews: supreme hypocrites and not pro-Israel at all

Having previously condemned Donald Trump for daring to restrict Muslim terrorists entering the USA, the Board of Deputies has again decided it knows what 's best for a foreign country's security  by condemning Israel's long overdue law that bans entry to boycott activists (i.e. those who seek the destruction of the Jewish State). The BoD were inevitably joined in their condemnation by every
other one of the 'official' left-leaning Jewish organisations in the UK (including anti-Zionist ones like the New Israel Fund).

This would be the very same Board of Deputies who successfully lobbied the UK government to ban pro-Israel American bloggers (Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer) entry to the UK on the basis that they might 'incite Muslims'. Nobody does hypocrisy and fake Israel support as well as the Board of Deputies.

Bearing in mind that many of these 'official' British Jews also condemned Israel for defending itself against Hamas in 2014, it's a good thing they weren't making official pronouncements during World War 2 otherwise we would have seen headlines like
"British Jews demand Warsaw Ghetto residents surrender peacefully to German police"

Prepare for the media's shock when Israel responds properly to rocket attacks

The low-level Palestinian terror campaign against Israeli civilians (mainly knife, rock and vehicle attacks) continues on an hourly basis - invariably unreported except when the terrorist is killed. Now the Palestinians have restarted firing rockets from Gaza on an almost daily basis be prepared for the media's total shock and surprise when Israel finally responds forcefully (and I don't mean shooting up a couple of empty sheds, which is how they are currently responding).
